I am Soren and i am a social worker and Port-Chaplain in the international seaman's club DUCKDALBEN! For me working in DUCKDALBEN is about the support of seafarer's dignity, standing together with them for their human rights, beeing strong with the seafarers together for them and to give friendschip and home far away from family. Often it is a SIM card, a money transfer/ transaction, the possibility to get the mind to rest, having fun away from the day to day work or just that there is someone who cares and listen - not to be alone - in different and difficult living situations.
